UNPLANNED WATER OUTAGE Wed., February 21, 2024 for customers in Everettsville Area due to Ev. Bridge upgrade project.  Contractors just told us this morning.

Will affect customers living on River Road beginning at Davis Hill Lane and including last customer served on River Road before railroad overpass.  Will also affect customers living on Everettsville School Road, Talbot Road, Parker Lane, Pickhandle Hill Road 1 & 2.

Outage is planned to begin in afternoon today, Wednesday, February 21, 2024 (specific time not given to office) and contractor expected to complete work in 2-3 hours.

Recommend 1) customers draw out a bucket of water for use with toilet, just in case outage lasts longer than expected.  2) Postpone laundry until Friday to allow lines to settle out.

Customers could expect some air to be moving through the lines for a day or so making the water look cloudy, but water is safe for use as is, NO boil water advisory is expected to be issued.

Following completion of water line work, our field staff will perform line / hydrant flushing to clear lines as much as possible before restoring service to customers.
